There are currently two development projects running. In addition, there are several observational project.

  • NGT project. The next generation telecope (NGT) project is run by a dedicated working group. The aim of the group is to design and develop a large high-tech telescope.
  • Supernova search project. The aim is to further develop the Phoenix telescope so that a computer can run a supernova search programme automatically. This project is run in coordination with the prototyping on Phoenix done in the NGT project.
  • Observational projects. The topics are astronomical data collection and analysis. These projects are run by observatory working groups.
